MDOT's goal is to provide a safe intermodal transportation network for those that use our transportation system. This includes bicyclists and pedestrians as well as motorists.

Harrison County manages (5) senior citizens centers to assist older citizens on the coast. In addition, we have an information network to provide valid current facts to older individuals or a person inquiring on behalf of an older person of the available resources, services or programs in the community. Transportation may be provided to eligible individuals to and from community services, medical appointments, groceries, and recreation activities.

CTA is a non-profit provider of public transportation for the three coastal counties of Mississippi. It is an independently managed public utility that is governed by a Board of Commissioners. It is the designated recipient of State and Federal funding for urban transportation on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. 

The Mississippi Department of Transportation offers MDOT traffic updates, driver's licenses information, current projects, safety and education, and more.
