Direct Mobile Transit Inc. is a senior and wheelchair transportation specialist. They offer facility transportation, personal car services, and professional drivers and fleet. 

The SCAT program provides a 50% discount on taxi fares for senior citizens and persons with disabilities. 

The Independent Transportation Network® (ITN) is dedicated to providing dignified transportation. Older adults join ITNSouthernDelaware and become dues-paying members of an organization committed to their mobility.

Explore programs and services that help older adults and people with disabilities live in their communities the way they want to.

Dial-A-Ride may be used by any Newington resident who is aged 55 or older or who has a disability in accordance with the American’s with Disabilities Act of 1990. Residents wishing to use the service must complete an application and sign a Dial-A-Ride passenger agreement. Once approved, passengers will be registered with the service.

CTtransit is the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT)-owned bus service. Several companies under contract to CTDOT operate services in metropolitan areas throughout Connecticut.
