Search the ChORUS Library

Tips for Your Search

To start, enter a keyword or phrase to find library resources of interest and select “Apply”. Your search results will appear. To filter your results, select one or more filter options from the filter categories (i.e., Audience, Type, Source, etc.). You can choose one or more filters from one or more categories. If you select more than one filter, resources will appear for both of your choices. For example, if you select Individuals and Law Enforcement as Audiences and Screening and Testing as a Topic you will yield a list of all screening and testing materials associated with both audiences.

    Law enforcement officials, who older adults trust, can help an aging driver steer clear of harm's way on the road. Law enforcement officials can also be helpful when it comes to interacting with stakeholders on the topic.

    This website provides an interactive driving safety questionnaire, safety tips for older drivers, and vehicle safety tips.

  6. NHTSA's Older Driver and Road Safety Information — Pennsylvania

    The PennDOT older driver page touches on older driver safety tips, warning signs for when older drivers should limit their driving, older driver videos, a mature driving improvement course, and alternative transportation options.

  7. Transportation Safety Institute Courses — National 

    Source: US Department of Transportation

    Transportation Safety Institute Courses offers free cources on a range of topics. Note while the courses are free, you will need to register to sign up and then select the training from NHTSA topics.
